Detailed description of Audubon Country Club
Audubon Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Louisville, Kentucky.
Audubon Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1908. The current course was designed by Tom Bendelow and David Pfaff.
The course is a traditional design built on rolling terrain with well-bunkered greens and narrow fairways lined with a variety of trees. Water hazards come into play on six holes, including the signature hole, #17, a 197-yard, par 3, requiring a carry over a pond. This club has hosted numerous golf championships, including the Kentucky Open, Kentucky Amateur, and U.S. Open qualifying rounds.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,720 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,375 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 530 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 178 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 530 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 5, a 178 yard par-3.

The course is very will maintained. They actually let us play in the rain but of course cart path only. A very nice private course, but a little pricey for guests.
